The Cardiac Centre is a private practice located in the heart of Wollongong within walking distance to the Wollongong hospital. We also have practices located in Shellharbour, Bowral and Nowra.
We aim to empower our patients by working in partnership with them to achieve the best outcome for their heart health. Our practices are easily accessible by public transport and has wheelchair access.
We provide a comprehensive range of cardiology services, including:
- Specialist Cardiac consultations
- Medical/cardiac screening
- Electrocardiography (ECG)
- Treadmill stress testing
- Stress echocardiography
- Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE)
- Holter monitoring

The doctors who work at this practice are also accredited at both public and private hospitals in the Illawarra as well as throughout Sydney and are able to provide the following inpatient services:
- Specialist cardiac consultations
- Transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
- Coronary angioplasty/stenting
- CT coronary angiography
- Pacemaker/defibrillator implantations
- Electrophysiological studies/ablation
We also have strong links with Nuclear Medicine specialists, Cardiothoracic surgeons, and specialists in cardiac CT and MRI scans.
