Dr Jorge Moragues

Dr Jorge Moragues is a Consultant Cardiologist with Sub-specialty training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging.

Dr Moragues is a Staff Specialist at Wollongong and Shellharbour Hospitals as well as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong. Besides his passion for clinical and preventive Cardiology, his main area of expertise is Advanced Cardiac Imaging. Being one of only a few cardiologists in the region with the Cardiac Society’s Level 2 Competency in transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, he specialises in 2D and 3D echocardiography, strain imaging, valvular assessment, stress and contrast echocardiography. He also has Level A accreditation for CT Coronary Angiography interpretation. He also speaks Spanish fluently.
